SURFING COMPETITIONS

The first surf competition in Jávea was held on January 25th, 2015.

With a total of 50 participants across the junior and open male and female categories.

The winners in the open male category were Jose Postigo, David Signes (Jávea) and Enrique Martínez. In the open female Marta Salañer, Lucía Valiente, Carlota Sorlí and Jessica Stheenhaut (Jávea). And in the junior Sam Silva (Jávea), Alex Valor and Passakorn Srimai (Jávea).

Despite the harsh conditions of the sea, the sun and the good atmosphere ensured that everyone had great day.

This was held on February 21st, 2016

With a total of 56 participants across the categories sub 12, sub 14 and open, both male and female.

The winners were: sub 12 Alex Valor, sub 14 Lucas Mir, sub 18 male Sam Silva (Jávea), sub 18 and open female Marta Salañer and open male Javier Perez.

Held in Jávea on January 29th, 2017.

With a total of 55 participants across the categories sub 12, sub 14, sub 18, open both male and female and this year the Longboard category was added.

The 4th edition was held on February 11th, 2018.

With A total of 47 participants across the categories of sub 14, sub 18, open and this years competition also saw the introduciton of stand up paddle surf.

The winners in each category were: sub 14 Alex Valor, under 18 Hugo Ortega, open male Manu Colomina (Jávea), open female Mª Fernanda Viney, SUP male Lucas Cebreiros and SUP female Loles Albiol.
